I also had some fun, playing around with a new light modifier. Everyone likes the look of soft light but it tends to either go everywhere or be expensive to control, or both. The Photek Softlighter II seemed like a happy middle ground... if BIG (this thing is 5 feet across!) makes you happy!!!

Strobist info: The one and only light used here is an SB-800 with a 1/4 CTO gel in a 60" Photek Softlighter II from high camera right, zoomed to 24mm, and fired at 1/2 power.
