Preschool animals

Jonathan & Mont E. Bear
Patrick & Mont E. Bear
Benjamin & Stripes

The preschool these 3 went through has a much beloved tradition of sending the "school mascot" home with a different child every day. I thought it would be fun to look at them side-by-side.

I'm not sure what is more interesting: seeing how the kids have changed over the years, or how my photography style has progressed along the way!

(And no, the school did not have to get an entirely new animal as a direct result of any of my kids!)

Strobist info:

(Jonathan) A single on-camera flash (SB-600) which from the looks of it was fired directly toward him, from slightly to camera right since the camera was rotated into portrait mode.

(Patrick) A single on-camera flash (SB-600?) bounced into the ceiling, probably on full TTL.

(Benjamin) The key light is an LP-180 with a 1/4-CTO gel in a 60" Photek Softlighter II table-topped overhead, and the 2 unmodified rim lights from behind were snooted speed lights on low (1/32nd? power).
