Tea kettles

Reliving my childhood, we took a bunch of youngsters to Cape Cod in early spring to see the Herring Run: hundreds-of-thousands of Herring making their way out of the ocean, upstream into the ponds to lay their eggs. Once they realized driving 2 hours to "see some fish" was more exciting than it sounds (you can actually see them jumping up waterfalls and occasionally getting nabbed by a hungry sea gull) the kids were head-over-heels (that phrase never made sense to me - isn't your head normally over your heels?)...

They did, however, go "ass-over-tea-kettle" on the trip!
