This shot was taken at an outdoor wedding held deep in the woods near Mt. Sunapee in New Hampshire. It was an overcast day but very bright at times and I loved the way the all the shades of green, from the pine trees up above to the ferns on the ground, were lit by the filtered sun. It made a great background (interesting but not distracting), especially when blurred by shooting with a 50mm f/1.8 lens nearly wide open (f/3.2). I only wish the light hitting the faces was a little more filtered than it was.
